For me it is the DA 21, the 55-300 PLM and of late, the FA*80-200 which is not exactly a balanced package, even with the battery grip, but it is a great IQ combination.

My camping kit is light and versatile. USAGear includes plm 55-300 and a 40mm ltd tucked in tandom. Less weight so I can take with me a tripod. Filters go in side pocket .

With my KP I use it for a number of uses, so I've got a selection of zooms plus a couple of DA primes.
DA 10-17mm
DA 18-135mm
DA 55-300 PLM
DA 35mm f2.4
DA 50mm f1.8

I'd like to add possibly a DA 12-24mm, DA 100m macro and a DA*300mm f4 at some point when funds permit.
The 18-135mm is my most used lens, followed by the 55-300mm PLM, both of which take some pretty good shots. The 10-17mm is quite a fun lens, although I haven't had the chance to play with it much so far!

For me my go-to kit, always in the sling for the most part:
DA21, FA31, *55, FA77, and then the only larger lens I'll carry the DA50-135. Why so many lens all at once? I nearly always carry two cameras. A lens on each and three in the bag

If hiking it's the DA21, DFA100, and *200 along with a Pentax 1.7 TC.

The twelve year old Lowepro AW 102 goes hiking with the KP, F 24-50, DA 15, DA 40, and WR 50-200 for inclement weather. Three cards, five batteries and a Peak Design lightweight adjustable strap coexist well with the sling design. The big work pack has a bunch of A and F primes plus the Sigma 50-150.

I have the Pentax 16-85mm, Tamron 90mm Macro f/2.8, Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5, and Pentax 55-300mm f/4.5-6.3. They are all excellent.

Most of the time I use the collapsible 18-50mm zoom. Others that pair well with the KP are 35mm f2.4, DA 21mm, sometimes FA 50mm f1.4. I like the camera for it's small form factor, thus the small lenses

And just like that my go-to kit no longer includes the DA21. Long story.... ;(

DA 18-135 WR.
DA* 60-250 WR
A* 85 f/1.4
A* 300 f/2.8
For the time being...
I’m not satisfied with the combo A* 300 f/2.8 and HDA 1.4 converter, so I managed to find the dedicated A 1.4 L converter (not cheap).

I will be leaving for holidays in few weeks, Will travel with zooms to make it more convenient as kids will be there as well. 18-135 + 55-300 will do the job for sure!

Lately I've pretty much kept my DA 50-135 on it. A bit front heavy but the tandem works well, especially after Uncle Vanya did his magic conversion to it. Too hot lately for hiking which would prompt a lens change to the DFA100

Wish I could own a black HD 20-40mm. I would love to have something lighter than DA* 16-50mm or outdoor photography, where rain and dust are unavoidable. Instead, I recently acquired the 18-135mm WR because the HD 20-40mm is too expensive for my budget. Spending my last weekend with 18-135mm, I'm thinking I'm going to stick with it for now.
