I've always imagined the 21 would be a good fit on the KP

My collection for KP is:

-SIGMA ART, 30 mm f/1.4 DC
-Vivitar Series1, 28-105mm f 2.8-3.8 MACRO
-MIRANDA AUTO MC 135MM F2.8
-Rokinon 85M-P 85mm f/1.4 Aspherical
-Pentax 50mm f1.8 SMC DA
-Tamron 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II LD Aspherical IF Macro AF
-Tamron SP AF 17-50mm f/2.8 XR Di II LD IF

Till now I had some amazing time with Vivitar, beautiful bokeh, Pentax 50mm is amazing for makro with close up filters, done some nice portraits with Sigma 30mm too.
Still need more time to five all of my lenses some love Might post something soon

Ever since owning the KP (December 2019), I re-discovered the use of A-lenses.

Before I owned a K20 using two Sigma's: 17 - 70mm 2.8/4.5 DC and a 70 - 300mm 4/5.6 APO DG.

Now though, I digged up a variety of SMC A lenses including a 24mm F2.8, 50mm F1.4, 135mm F2.8 and a 35 - 105mm F3.5 is coming up.

To fill the gap in prime lenses there'sa DA 35mm F2.4 in the bag, but that doesn't add any weight to the total at all.

For any one who wonders why using manual focus lenses, I found myself adjusting focus in poor light conditions before. That made me switch to MF on camera quite often. So why investing in AF-lenses if there are so many well made MF's around? And on a KP - they look even better

Having said that, the future will tell, which of the above will become my favorite(-s). You'll see.

My KP was purchased last December as a superior platform for my Sigma 150-500mm and for that purpose it performs admirably. Probably over 90% of the (currently circa 3.5k) exposures I've made with my KP has been with this lens. For my very many "other" lenses I have a variety of bodies, most of which get used regularly, albeit not as extensively as my KP.
