I don't know if you are pulling the piss, but since the update my autofocus does seem to be performing better.
I tested AF-C with target coming straight at the camera at ~60km/h in burst and every shot was in focus
May I ask what lens do you shoot with as well as the focal length?
My KP has also been updated to the latest firmware. Should there be any difference, I hope I can notice some of them this weekend when I need to use it for an extensive period of time.

I really didn't notice any difference after the update until I did the "lean into traffic focus test" and was pleasantly surprised.

I was using the following:-
Shooting conditions:- Bright, winter afternoon sun low in the sky.
Lens - smc PENTAX-DA 18-135mm F3-5-5.6 ED AL [IF] DC WR
Focal Length - 135mm
Aperture - f8.0
Shutter Speed - 1/250
ISO - 200

My next test will be to try an older screw drive lens and see if it can keep up.

I believe you can simply install the latest version of firmware. It is not necessary to install firmware in-order.
Thank-you parinya-ekparinya, I should have looked a bit harder, there is a video instruction -

Any results from this test?
