Pricing is back to "normal" I guess, I just purchased one for 746.95 USD from B&H. But it came bundled with a bunch of extra stuff (extra strap, 32GB card, PaintShop Pro, and a camera bag), so I still feel pretty good.

It arrived last night, I'm very much looking forward to getting started with it as well!

Strange, I ordered my KP during last year's "12 Days of Christmas" sale, it arrived on the 3rd day from when I ordered it from Ricoh. Ricoh may be waiting for another shipment of KPs to complete your order.

I doubt it, Ricoh ran the same special in the U.S. last year at Christmas time.
