Lucky situation to be in. You should certainly have a kp in silver and one in black. Then a backup for each. Sounds like you're at least one KP short!

Oh Myy….You guys certainly ARENT helping.

I'd sell one for sure (to me at an extremely discounted rate of course!). The KP is a great camera and all but I don't see much of a point of owning more than 2.

I Sold the KP I bought for myself from Ricoh to a lady in my Photography Club here in Sun City. I sold it for $5 more than I paid.
Immediately ordered a Perception Sound 10.5 Kayak from Amazon that will be delivered Friday morning !
Had enough $$$ left over that I am also in process of buying a nice used Old Town Dirigo 120 Kayak for $200 (a steal) but I cant pick it up until Friday also.
Looking forward to getting out on the local water for some pics Soon !
Im keeping the Dirigo for sure and will outfit it for Fishing/Photography and overnight river camping.....the extra kayak will be for someone to come along that doesn't have one yet wants to Go !
I was all pumped up to get a SOT full blown fishing Kayak , but after reality set in I went with what I already knew and felt comfortable with for skinny water and small streams and lake coves. Plus I saved a BUNCH of money in the process.
I will be using my old trusty beater KP while on the river around water....the New KP still has zero clicks and I haven't even put a battery in or mounted a lens....still sitting in its box neglected.....lol

I was trying to be funny.
Well done. I am glad it worked out.
I enjoy my KP, I wouldn't mind having a second one myself.

Well, I own 2 silver KPs, and I do keep different lenses on them, of course and I find that to be a handy thing at times. The other reason, is backup. I do have other models to use as backup, but they are not KPs, and I do not have assurance that once the new flagship arrives will the KP continue to be made?? It was not meant to be a flagship replacement, so I am assuming this unique design will be continued along with the entry model and the flagship, eventually an upgraded KP II or K?

So I consider extra copies as protection against not having any in the long run.

2 silver KPs is, as our great grandparents would have said, "The cat's pajamas". Whatever that actually means:} But I bet they are fun to work with.
