Hi Folks,

does anybody knows the brand and type of the Kp's CMOS sensor ?
Does Pentax usually use a specific CMOS sensor brand or is it variable from model to model ?

As far as I know, It has been Sony sensors (modified by Pentax), from the K5 on.

As I recall, the KP's 24mp sensor is different than either the K-3 series or the K-70.

sony? It's been sony since K5, not sure if other brands of sensor are used.
