What solution? (I've noticed no difference with firmware update.)

This rattling happens to me when I have the Kiron 70-210 in the A position on the KP and turn the KP on. When I set this lens to an aperture and then turn the KP on, the KP doesn't rattle.

This also happens to me occasionally when I fire up my KP. It usually happens with my DA 35mm f2.4 attached, occasionally with my DA 50mm f1.8, rarely with my HD DA 55-300mm (non PLM), and never with my DA 18-135mm. I always thought it was the autofocus initializing since it doesn’t happen with the DC drive lens, only with the screwdrive lenses. If I half press the shutter button it stops immediately. I’ve stopped worrying about it, though it was unnerving at first. Seems to be just an annoying glitch.

Here's another instance … I dragged the KP out today for a few quick snaps and lo and behold rattle-rattle-rattle!
Lens fitted ? HD Pentax-DA 18-50mm DC WR RE, my only other non-screw-drive lens (after my previously reported "bigma")
So, in this corner of the universe, the fault has only been noticed with lenses that don't have screw-drive a/f … make of that what you will

My worst offender is the 18-250 screw-drive, but again only when it is at the wide end when you turn it on.

I have noticed that rattling too with the KP quite often. It’s really annoying. Since I mostly use the K1 I forgot it but now that I read these thread I remember it. I have to try different lenses if there are differences.
