As a base for that handle I used amazon.com : Camera L Bracket Vertical Horizontal Switching Video Shooting Quick Release Plate with 1/4 Inch Screw Compatible with Canon Sony Nikon SLR DSLR Camera : Camera & Photo?tag=pentaxforums-20&
I unscrewed side from the plate and put instead custom made handle made out of some plywood, broken hammer handle and metal corner. Works for K-01 and Q-7 as well.

More or less. Maybe I needed to make the angle a little bit more acute. Actually angle should be different depending if I shoot in live view or through the viewfinder. But making it adjustable is out of my DIY skills level.
