Point and Shoot Competition #71. Shoot anything!

Contest #71. No theme. Shoot & enter anything you want! Harder to judge, but more fun. Lets see what you have.

The rules:

1. Have fun!

2. Cameras:
No cameras with sensors larger than 1".
No large format or camera typically requiring a tripod to use.
No interchangeable lens cameras.
No 35mm(D)SLRs or any camera weighing over 1kg.

Cameras permitted ( cameras listed as acceptable here supersede rules above)
Fixed-lens 35mm and smaller-format film and digital rangefinder and viewfinder cameras.
Interchangeable or fixed-lens 110film SLRs and Pentax Q.
TLRs, 6x9, 6x7, 6x6, Medium Format "folding", "box", or "Holga-style" scale focus cameras ( subject to 1kg weight limitation).

Any camera brand allowed.

3. Entries will close on October 31 (Halloween), 2013 23:59 CST (USA).
4. Maximum image dimensions are 1024x768 (ish) pixels.

5. List camera brand, model, with entry for all to see, and exposure data would be nice.
6. Post processing is fine.

7. Contest winner determines the rules, selects theme, sets closing date and judges the next competition.

8. Enter up to 3 images.
9 HAVE FUN!

The Pentax X-5 is a fine camera and is welcome in this contest. Eager to see your entries.

I've been reconnecting with my Panasonic FZ-100 which I have hated for two years. I still don't own a Pentax compact. I'd have the MX-1 if I didnt already have the Oly XZ-1 and a VF to go with it!

Sorry, but thought this was a 'Pentax Compact Digital & Film Cameras ' forum?
Why post Panasonic photos? Did the OP say 'any brand'? Because I have a load of Canon PnS I could post...

Unless the rules changed. One could always post shots from any compact. If the rules have changed, I'll happily remove mine, but wont be back because its unlikely I'll ever have a Pentax compact.

IOW, go ahead and post 3.

Since the very first contest, any brand has been allowed. One reason the contest started, was to build up traffic in the Point & Shoot forum. Before this, Adam was considering closing it due to low participation.. Pentax made few good point & shoots at the time. Adam graciously allowed us to bend the "rules". It has worked well and now you see great Pentax compacts like the MX-1, WG series, and the Q. The rules have been updated.

Why not enter a few Canon shots? We would love to see them. This contest is based on fun.
thanks

Fair enough, I wasn't to know the past. But to be fair, the forum title really does suggest Pentax only so for newcomers I'd recommend that the first post make conditions crystal clear, ok

I bet you will have one some day. You are already eyeing the MX-1. Olypmus just got there sooner. Hope you join us for many more contests.
thanks
