Maybe this is older news than I realize, but Ricoh has made some improvements to the Theta+ editing app and the hosting site that I have discovered and they're very positive. In addition to cross-process/split-toning filters, you can now do basic adjustments to color and exposure in the app, and, when uploading to Theta360.com, the view and orientation is saved, which is very cool!

Nice work, Ricoh!

Would love some tips on how to share this next time so its not at this funky angle. I think It was shot at that angle but I had it fairly right side up entering through the theta + app

Could not wait for the Theta 4K so I got a Garmin Virb 360. Here's my first video:

(best viewed on a tablet or phone where you can turn around and see stuff. On a desktop, simply drag the view around)

Things to note:

- Image quality is limited by the performance of the 1/2.3 sensors. Need more exposure range.
- 4K is barely enough for passable 360 video. The Virb 360 has a 5.6K mode, which is actually 2x4k according to the new math, but you need to stitch together on desktop. I will try that next and see if it is worth the trouble.
- I prefer the form factor of the Theta.
