Nice! And that initial zoom-in is cool. Zoom in some more and it feels like Inception or something!

Anyone else notice that Flickr now supports the Theta? Let me embed the Flickr code and see what it shows here on the forum...

EDIT: Oh well, it's spherical in Flickr but the embed displays it flat.

Uh... Flickr seems to add some kind of fuzzy animal at the bottom of the pano. Strange!

Took these last week or so, but haven't gotten around to getting them off the Theta S until now...

Here are the spherical images:

And here are a couple of images I made using the "Tiny Planet" view in the Theta+ app (uploaded via Instagram to Flickr, so there's some loss of quality, but I ain't gonna sweat it)... :-)

Yup, you can control the Theta with the phone app.

If an admin sees this, can we edit the name of this thread from:

Ricoh Theta Spherical Society in the Round

to

Ricoh Theta Spherical Society in the Round Society

It's just seems fitting.

I wish they would introduce timer function in the remote app. You are stuck either looking at the phone when the moment is captured or if you want to look at the camera then have your fingers and wrist included in the photo. If they can do HDR and manual controls via phone app, I would imagine it would be pretty simple to include a timer as well. Hopefully we will see it in next updates.

@johnmflores Holy cow! Great snow shots, John! The one with the crazy man in the orange coat and basketball shorts is hilarious! Good find! lol

Today I took my mom to the airport for the very first flight of her life. She has to switch planes in Atlanta and frankly, I'm terrified for her. Hope she makes it to Philadelphia OK!

At the bus stop:

For whatever reason, i didn't use the Theta inside the airport. I used my other cameras instead. Too bad! Probably would have been some great scenes for the Theta... I was just too anxious about making sure she got on her plane!

Went to volunteer for the Bernie Sanders campaign in Iowa this past weekend. It was an interesting experience! Never done anything like it before...
