I intentionally scrolled past the part at the top of the page that says "You pre-ordered this item on..."

At this point in my life, I've got more dollars than sense!

@severalsnakes They're not loading. They get to 100% then there's an error dialog and the page reloads.

Weird! They're working for me? What browser are you using? Is your Java/Flash/stuff updated?

Do you notice any significant difference in picture quality between Theta S and Theta V?

I can't say because I did not have an S, I had the predecessor, the forgotten M15.

Overall image quality still seems a step below the Q.

FYI, Theta V will only do 5 minutes of 4K video before shutting down due to heat. It may last longer in cooler weather.

By comparison, the Garmin Virb 360 that I tested recorded 19 minutes before I stopped recording.

The Theta V has Bluetooth so you can remote control the camera via Bluetooth instead of wifi. You don't get a preview on your phone or an instant review after but Bluetooth is quicker to set up and use.

This was an HDR shot using Bluetooth remote control. Pretty nice processing, not overbaked.

Thanks John. I think I will wait for another year before getting a new one. The image quality is pretty much similar when compared to Theta S. Hopefully by next year there will be more options too. The new GoPro one looks interesting.
