Hi, I have Ricoh Theta 3.9.1 software and am using a MacBook Pro with OS 10.12.6. I am converting 4K mp4 files from a Ricoh Theta V camera and the software freezes up and does not convert some of the clips. The clips are all around 200 MB in size. Any suggestions what to do?

This is a issue which appears to be specific to certain versions of macOS. You could try the self-signing fix here:
RICOH THETA Movie Converter Mac just Crashes - THETA Media - THETA 360 Developer

Or, if you have access to a different computer, that would be worth trying. If that's not possible, you could always get a windows 10 (trial) VM on your mac, install the software inside the VM, and run the conversion.

Hi, I will use a Windows computer first to see if they convert ok, then will try the self signing command.
