Wide Angle: Show us your shots.

Quoted from What is a Wide Angle Lens? (And When to Use One)
What is a wide angle lens?
A wide-angle lens is any lens with a set focal length that is shorter than the length of the sensor or film. For full frame sensors, a wide angle lens would be any lens with a focal length equal to or less than 35mm.

Any lens between 35mm and 24mm is considered a wide angle camera lens. Anything between 24 mm and 18mm is considered an ultra wide angle lens. Below 18mm enters fisheye lens territory. Fisheye lenses are common in action sports, but in photography and film can cause unwanted wide angle lens distortion.

One of my favorite lenses are wide angles. I love the distortions and the effects of the long lines when using a wide angle lens. That is why I bought a 10-20 sigma to cater to my needs.

If the Admin permits, maybe we can share our shots here. It can be any shot from fisheye to 35 mm full frame equivalent. Let me start by posting one of mine which I took last January 2016.

Here's one taken over a year ago with the 645-A 35mm on the Pentax 645N II. No trip to Berlin for the Christmas markets this year ...

An while am at it - a wide-angle is also great for car photography in tight places. Here's the classic Volvo 544:

and a worn out 1946 Ford Six (a likely design inspiration for the Volvo above):

Both taken with the smc Pentax-A 645 35mm F/3.5 on the Pentax 645N.

Wide angle lenses offer a unique perspective, giving surreal images of exaggerated geometry. That’s exactly why someone should be careful with their use. It sometimes doesn’t work the way we imagine. I find their quality pretty artistic. Nice set of photos.

As usual. The effect of wide angle on the cloud formation is beautiful.

I like how a super wide can give you enough area to cover despite the limited distance you have to take a picture of a scene. Taken at 10 mm or 15 mm full frame equivalent.
