Better to bear in mind difference in file sizes, FF will need less enlargement for final image viewing, DR and high ISO performance, Need to see independent reviews first either way. We do know how good the K1 ii is but also how big and heavy. I will be waiting for a while before I choose between the pair.
FWIW if you're only going to shoot landscapes the K1 is the far better choice IMO, still one of the very best available camera's for landscapes, and that includes current camera's costing twice as much as the Pentax FF. If or when Pentax upgrades the K1 line then I'll consider what they offer. Right now it's not even a rumor, while the K3 III is real and now.
What the new Pentax APS-C does is fill a current gap in their camera lineup for action, quickly moving wildlife, and indoor events, things a lot of us are interested in. Just my opinion.
