I upped the Video again in a zip container - it is 4k - so this should be better to judge - it is filmed with a SMC 50 1.2

I did have a look of original file, and to me it does look very nice! Thank you. Previous file must have been damaged by google by how they packed it to fit. Totally workable file and I did a little grading to it in davince resolve. Looks quite nice actually, and with nice presets, it couls really be very nice indeed.

I can add it to vimeo to give to you a look of it if you would like. I trie to load it in googledrive, but quality just drops dramatically. even from 1080 file...Vimeo is safe, because it can’t be downloaded/embedded/linked/commented if Not made possible. This is if you would let / give permission.

Anyway. This really made my purchase decision to be more clear. Video is good enough for my intended use. Incredible from Pentax actually.

The Camera shoots 12 FPS only without AF-C enabled - With AF-C you'll get around 7 FPS - The Buffer is good for 36 RAW shots on paper - From my experience you'll never run out of puffer as long as you do not constantly shoot to the limit of the buffer and have short breaks in you bursts - the buffer clears quite fast. The Birds in flight stuff you should talk to Mike Muizebelt or Rene Rachelle Maguire (Both Pentax Ambassadors) - Both are available in the Pentaxians Facebookgroup and always willing to talk about Wildlife topics.

Up to 12 FPS in AF.S and up to 11 FPS in AF.C High. 7 FPS in AF.C Med, can't recall what Low was.
Most times, you won't get 11 FPS if the lens has to re-focus between shots, the FPS drops down. It's the same on every camera in all formats with continuous auto focus.
Even with Sony, Canon, Nikon and Fuji mirrorless. The advertised fps are hardly reached in real shooting situations. Not a fault of any of the cameras, but if the lens needs to refocus (even that slight little bit), it takes time out of the FPS.

Exactly. That's what I recall too. It make sense, the camera need to refocus and I doubt it can do it in 11fps. It must reduce the fps. you're right.

We will see what AF will be. And ofcourse there will be time when it will struggle. There is also quite refine video about this particular AF and this time they said that because it will refocus in between of shots, it is actually faster and better in keeping the focus especially with new mirror system where wobble with mirror has been eliminated. We should wait and see.
