Keep the K-3 II for astro... if you don't is there really a difference?
+he already got the K-3 so no transfer needed

I like the k-3 fill flash and the ability to control a larger P-TTL flash optically. I haven’t ever used the k-3ii

Personally I’d gift the k-3 to keep it simple. This keeps all the bodies capable of pixel shift and I’d guess if you have a spare body with you you have an external flash along as well.

I wonder if they will ever do another set in the same finish as the original K3 Premium Edition kit?

Yes , you are right.
The K-1ii silver feels much more plasticky and probably is.

You can send them to me 😁. By the way, pop up flashes are no useful for serious photography. Don't be too worried about them.

yes , but they are useful as a master for optical slaves

I hear this and still happily use them. I understand they have limitations, but they can be very useful. Best I use I know of is getting a little fill light when your shooting Outside and need a small bit to brighten eyes or remove shadows on a face.

the key is how to use the tool well, knowing the limitations
