Cute, neat catch. I like your caption, though I was thinking more along "Get off my lawn!" , heh.
That might have more to do with my demographic than anything though...

Another series I would have missed without the K3III, it happened fast.

EDIT: Fun fact. These were quite unintentionally shot at 25600. I tend to go early, just before daybreak, and apparently had set it higher the previous weekend.
Stunning focus! I have been limiting my ISO. How are you cleaning away the grain?

Cheers,
Loyd

Those were opened in LR, processed with non-default settings in Topaz DeNoise and Topaz Sharpen, then back to LR for some small targeted adjustments and cropping/resizing. The whole process for the series probably took no more than 30 minutes in total including deciding how to proceed. If the situation requires I would not shy away from 25600, it works.

Thanks Gatorguy,

I have both of those programs and am looking forward to opening up the ISO. Do you ever use GigaPixel AI?

Loyd

I use it more commercially (advertising and print services) than personal photos, but for both it works quite well.

EDIT: And today they added a special algorithm for faces. Tested and it works incredibly well.

Live View at close to ground level (I was crouching) in full harsh sun. At first there was a lot of reflection in the screen so I turned up the screen brightness to max and could clearly see my framing with no issues.
Shot with the D FA 100 Macro.

A few shots taken on a bright but slightly cloudy day. Shows the versatility of the camera.

First one K3-iii, PENTAX-DA* 50-135mm F2.8 ED at 115mm, f5, 1/4,000, ISO 800 Raw, cropped and edited with Lightroom Classic, Photoshop, and Topaz Sharpen AI .
Second K3-iii Same lens. 1/3200sec at f4.0, ISO 800. JPEG basically SOOC (couldn't improve shot from this with processing).
Third Same camera and lens. 1/2000sec at f4.0, ISO 800. I took this for B&W treatment and processed it from Raw in Lightroom/Photoshop combo.

Original SOOC JPEG of first shot can be seen at: RAW: What is it Good For? Absolutely nothing..? Hmm yeah, say it again - Page 9 - PentaxForums.com

That's a cool blood moon shot, Matt!

Mine is cross posted to Show me your ......MOON ! thread. K-3III, DA*300 and HD DA 1.4x telecon, cropped.

Blood moon behind clouds by k kwb, on Flickr

This was somewhat after the total lunar eclipse. I usually take time manually focusing on LV using a bright star or two with 16x magnification, but everything was quickly going in and out of clouds that night so it was tough, and the time was running out. I didn't nail the focus, but I like how this one turned out.
