Folk Art from Boards

....You see variations on this kind of patriotic folk art about all over the Western USA....it is easy and takes little materials....This is Eastern Washington State...

Tried out the 150-450 on the K-3 iii at Silverstone BSB meeting to see how it compared with the 55 -300 PLM. Shooting through the fence at Aintree corner so the focus lock above 6m eliminated problems with the focus locking on to the fence. In that respect the focus worked better than the PLM which couldn't make its mind up what to focus on. However, the slower focus as you track the target and switch back meant it missed a few images that I am sure the PLM would have got if the fence hadn't been in the way. It is the first time I have used the 150 - 450 at the track and coupled with the K3 iii I am very happy with the results. I also tried it with the x1.4TC and that gave a very useful extension. Though I do need to sort out a monopod as the holding the lens up for 20 minutes isn't easy - forget steady it just waves about and I press and hope.
