Thank you guys for your kind words!

Sharpness is superb!!!! That 560mm can obviously deliver - even on such a fast-moving subject!! ??? Shutter speed/Aperture????
Both are shot 1/2500 and f/7.1 at TAv with ISO being around 400 (320 in the first and 400 at the 2nd if I recall well). The combo surely delivers the hard part being to keep the fast moving jets in your frame as they approach without choping off parts of them...

Wow! That's an amazing demonstration of the combination - driven by a brilliant photographer. I wish I had some planes I could photograph, but almost every flight is grounded and there's no air shows.
Thank you again my friend! The same situation here this being my first airshow after 2 years... This was actually a chance to "furbish" test my K-3iii in aviation photography and smell some jet fuel again!

Thank you kindly!

A handheld 5-frame burst, merged in LR for HDR. The clouds were really cool, so I pulled over for a quick shot or two. DA*11-18 @ 11mm

Instantly took me back fifty years.
Huey! Very nice set!

Thank you! I just wish I'd had the big lens, but I'm still happy with those shots!

I've created a new "Lens club" forum for it. Now I just need to encourage other owners of the new lens to post there.

I like the Solburst (starburst), but it demonstrates that I've allowed a bit of dust onto the lens.
