There is so much to learn about features before the real testing to begin but I just cold not wait.

Thank you Jersey. I don't have much choice because my PC is too weak to install DCU 5 or other similar or better postprocessing program. And with the video card prices and expected new models with blocked crypto mining it is not a good idea to buy a new one right now=

You could have legitimately titled this after the famous novel "I can jump puddles" by Alan Marshall!

Great timing and capture! And the nut (?) in the mouth tops it off with great humorous touch.

I agree with Jerzy. No PP needed on this image. Beautiful!

Since the new AF does such an amazing job with fast-moving subjects, I tried to lurk along with this lurking tiger beetle, which had its eye on a damselfly.
I'm sorry to say that when the action finally happened (long lurk), the damselfly was faster than the tiger beetle - and they were both faster than I was. So, no action shots from this scene!

How on earth could you predict that image! It is incredible.... Where you laying in the water on the off chance that a squirrel (with a nut in its mouth) would pass by.

I'm about to put all my gear on ebay and give up!

This is NOT a good image, but I think it serves as a sort of field test of the AF in poor light. It has been heavily cropped and some noise removed from the sky, and the exposure was lifted using the curve tool in Capture One - but I really only post it to show how well the AF performs in very poor light conditions. I took a series of heavily underexposed bat snapshots at about-as-dark-as-it-gets Danish summer conditions, and although the bat was just a fast-moving dot on the sensor, it kept focus really well!

(I know this isn't a standardised test in any sense, but it made me happy - just wanted to share before I upload it to iNaturalist and try to get a name for the bat... )

It is certainly easy to recognize that it is a bat! Good demonstration of the capability of the camera... and the photographer.
