This is NOT a good image, but I think it serves as a sort of field test of the AF in poor light. It has been heavily cropped and some noise removed from the sky, and the exposure was lifted using the curve tool in Capture One - but I really only post it to show how well the AF performs in very poor light conditions. I took a series of heavily underexposed bat snapshots at about-as-dark-as-it-gets Danish summer conditions, and although the bat was just a fast-moving dot on the sensor, it kept focus really well!
(I know this isn't a standardised test in any sense, but it made me happy - just wanted to share before I upload it to iNaturalist and try to get a name for the bat...
)
