Exciting for me...

...because I never have done this type of photography. Now that I have the time and the camera I'm hoping to improve. The dragonfly is almost there; Probably wrong lens combo considering what else I have. On the osprey I think I ran into that old devil "z axis." Both are with the 55-300 combined with the 1.4 RC. (Suggested as not a good choice by someone here.) Other than continuing to shoot and concentrate I need a little coaching on that "Z" problem. The Osprey is coming in fo a catch, guessing about 50 feet up in this shot.

I love the color on that dragonfly.

Nice shots! The high ISO performance of the K3iii should make it much easier to get good photos of stage performances.

AF-C is lot better but I tend not to use [AUTO] when shooting landing planes (close to ground) or taxing ones. AF likes to shift focus from plane to runway markings that are moving relatively to camera - probably cause they are yellow and rather big. Not happening when I photographing when places are high (so on sky - then no issue whatsoever) or when I use EX-L and point what camera has to track - then it follows what was pointed without issues. Still it is lots better then anything I had in my hands, even Oly EM-1 Mk II or my current phone with all "AI" support crammed into photo aplication.

And to not make OT too big:

Now that looks to be an interesting plane. What kind is it and what is it's purpose ?

It is exciting for sure, practice is good way to deal with it. I’m not sure ifI’m the best to teach you, but search for auto AF.C mode and A-21, for tracking. Try Hold off and then for SR you might want to have ‘panning’ on. Not sure what we’re your settings. And most of all have fun

M-28 is a polish licence build Antonov An-28 so kind of general cargo plane, often modified for military use in NATO airspace and used by Polish military and border guards. Even US bought some from Poland for special forces, designated C-145A.

This one is a Polish Border Guard plane starting from Gdańsk airport to patrol sea border near Kaliningrad.

BIF catch with DA 560 on the new K3-iii

Going through some pics I found this one I seriously doubt my first K3 would have captured as the K3-iii did. Likely as not I would have ended up with an out of focus raptor and in focus power pole. After watching him dine on the fish atop another pole, he took off to deliver it to his mate and their two young'uns.
The second image shows the larger of the two nestlings testing his wings, I doubt it will be long before he leaves the nest. Both images OOC crops

Nothing special just my first picture with the K3MkIII, PLM55-300. A reflection in the office window.
After the KP the MK3 feels odd but I have a feeling I might like it...

Excellent captures! Our local fledglings are testing their wings too.
