Thank you, it was a fun afternoon watching the action. The parents were nowhere to be seen except for a brief instant one buzzed him and flew off. Once out of the nest, everytime the fledgling would open his wings, his nest mate would call. As the second picture shows, she was non too happy with his leaving the nest.

His EXIF data says its a HD DA 150-450.

Photos over the past week ranging in subjects/genres and day to night. All hand held.
Night images were ISO-3200 to 6400.
1) Tie-dye Dragonfly
2) Extreme sunlight and deep shadows creat natural graffiti (back wall of the Liftlock)
3) The world's tallest waterway Liftlock.
4) Beautiful sunset hues .
5) Using the wide angle of view in Live View with the camera just off the ground.
6) Empty Gas station
7) The Symbol of the Mississauga Native Tribe glows high in the night sky

Some nice work there. I took a few minutes to work out the second one!

My impression is that the new sensor in the K-3iii is a noticeable step up from the K-3’s, particularly for night work. Your photos seem to bear that out. Then again, using Topaz DenoiseAI on some of my older photos does almost as good a job. Either way, it’s advancing the value of digital photography.
