I am confused on the terminology when crops are discussed... what is '100% crop' (is that the image uncropped) and when I see 'full crop' is that the same.
When I do a 100% crop I do it thru PS, zooming to 100% and cropping that box.

I don't know how to determine what a full crop is, but I'd guess it varies whether it's corn or tomatos or apple's.

The "100%" part means that no scaling was applied before cropping, i.e. 1 pixel on the picture corresponds to 1 pixel on the sensor, same as "1:1 crop". At least that's what I always assume when somebody says 100% crop.

google suggests that it's related to chicken anatomy.

Mafia 61 Low Approach to 34L JAN
I was out at the local airport getting some shots of commercial aircraft landing with my ear buds in so I could listen to "Live ATC" on my smart phone and heard a flight of three high performance aircraft departing on the parallel 34R. Their call sign was Mafia 61, Mafia 68 and Mafia 12. I heard the tower approve a low approach prior to departing the area for Columbus Air Force Base.

Many thanks, I really appreciate your comment! Thanks for viewing! That was one of those one shot and done images with very little DXO PhotoLab processing at all.

Experimenting with new 1.4tc and the 55-300 PLM.
This one had good focus and I was using LV to do it. It was difficult to hold still enough but I find that the touch screen LV focus with a PLM lens is superb.
Also means I need to do AF fine tuning for OVF focus...which was not as good today.
She let me take lots of shots but eventually began so squawk at me to go away.
