I had to post these as soon as I saw "Doc" in flight. Please pardon the use of the KP & K-1 in this thread, however the subject is so unique I thought I should add to the historical record of these warbirds. Also below are two images of the only other B-29 Superfortress still flying, FiFi.

Female banded demoiselle damselfly in the sun. I tend to use the 60/250 with/without 1.4 TC or 300 with/without 1.4 TC for insects and then crop. However, the latter lens is slower to focus with TC. I do not own the 100 macro as I don't think I would be able to get close enough to such subjects. I shoot in JPEG and have only cropped the pictures. The in-camera clarity settings are zero and the colour profile is natural. On my previous camera the K3-ii I had the colour profile setting as natural +1 saturation but the K3-iii seems to replicate natural colours more faithfully without any added saturation.

Allen, you have some great shots. You kept the shutter speed in a range that works for prop driven aircraft, you're getting a bit of prop blur which is nice. Too many folks run the shutter speed up on prop planes and freeze the motion of the props. Well done!!
