We spent Labor Day weekend in Wheeling, WV attending the annual Wheeling Vintage Raceboat Regatta. My new K-3 III performed exceptionally well even in the grey overcast and drizzle conditions. All were taken using my DA* 60-250mm mounted on the Pentax HD 1.4X Teleconverter. The new autofocus is outstanding once you get the hang of it. Very few out of focus shots for both days.           | |

Saw a coyote from colleague's office. We're in the desert, coyote dug a hole, sprinklers sprinkle, water fills, and coyote comes back to slurp. Clever dog. The first two were shot through the office window ~70 feet or 21 meters away from the subject with K-3III, DA*300 and HD DA 1.4x telecon. The third one is the hole the coyote was drinking from, shot with a cellphone.
