Taken today with my K-3 III and my D FA 150-450mm mounted on the Pentax HD 1.4x teleconverter. The driver is OK however the boat is most likely headed for a Viking Funeral.

Wilderness Road State Park (DA *16-50mm PLM)

This is a park near the corner of Virginia where Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky come together. It is probably best known for being where the Cumberland Gap lies.

The boats owner told me the latch had broken on the hatch. That issue had no bearing on the blow over though. The wind was starting to gust around this time and I think he just caught too much air under the boat.

It's based on a Staudacher conventional design from the 90's. It was built based off of that design. It was light and fast but was prone to blowing over. I think this was its 4th and final blowover.
