It’s not just for video. I use a small (7 inch) battery operated HDMI monitor when doing macro shots on a focus rail on both my K1 and K3.
That sounds really interesting. I would love a thread on your system if you ever have the time or a link if you have done one.

I did try HDMI out. and I can confirm that it does not have clean HDMI out. sound bars will stay up and there are small icon like lock and a square little box. I think they might be able to be enabled.

thig does get interesting when one trun the knob to LV mode. There you have 4:3 ratio ofcourse, and no sound(but that should not be a problem if you use external recorder for sound. HDMI is clean and AF still works, as well as SR. I don't have actual HDMI recorder, I use computer, but this might be the thing if one want to record as long as battery is good for with external sound recorder and MIC. You'll crop it in post to get 16:9.

not much to add there, other than camera does get quite hot after 45 minutes, I did stop there.

So the K-3 III has clean HDMI out using LV - good to know!
Sound in LV is still available vie 3.5mm stereo output. There are even adapter for merging sound with HDMI.

Yes. That could be good shortcut for longer record time, if that is desired. I have one project going on now and I might take advantage of that 'shortcut', because I can. This will be good when one would like to record, let's say 1 hour in one go. I thing that there need to be feedback for those things to be also removed in movie mode.

HDMI monitor shows "No signal"

I have my 5.5 inch monitor hooked up to K3 ii and I get "no signal" on the monitor. Obviously, there is a setting I am missing. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks

Rich
