Clean HDMI out means being able to remove all overlays (battery indicator, numerals, digits, levels, etc) from the hdmi output when the camera is NOT recording, so one can record on an external device (like an Atomos recorder). It would not necessarily be at the full resolution & framerate the camera is capable of recording internally.
It's really sad the 4GB limit is still in place on the K3 III. exFAT file system allows for 128 PB file size, practically unlimited with SDXC cards which are limited to 2TB. Pentax cameras have supported SDXC cards for years, probably over a decade.
Other camera manufacturers have no such limit. My Lumix GX85 can record files for hours that are hundreds of GB (on an AC adapter, not battery) on my 512GB SD card. 4K/30 at 100 Mbps. So can my Note 20 Ultra - 8K/30 at 75 Mbps or 4K/60 at 50 Mbps, no file size or time limit on its 512GB microSD card.
Somehow, they have figured out how to make region-specific models or firmware updates. Or just agreed to pay the tax for the EU market. So could Pentax. On a $2K camera, it really stings for the camera to be castrated that way.
