Here's another sample of the 4k video

A video I shot in my office with my usual set up with the K3 III doing 4k/24fps. The lens was the 20-40mm @20, iso3200 f5.6 1/30th Kelvin WB Natural profile +1 sharp -1 saturation. Preset manual focus, which actually works better than anyone else's eye tracking moisture seeking uber focus systems.

I'm still tweaking the settings, but not too bad, totally usable. The crop is a pain and the 7-9 minute limit is a pain, but it works. I think I'm going to use 1080p and dial that in to see what the best quality I can get out of that is. The few videos that I've done in 1080p with the K3 III looked OK.

(***NOTE: The video is NOT about the video capabilities of the K3 III, only shot with the K3 III in 4K***)

Looks perfectly fine to me Ed. Have you tried your 12-24 for this, seems like that would overcome the crop issue?

Qwntm I am no video expert but I think there are some basic rules to shooting video concerning shutter speed. Shutter speed shooting video is determined solely on the fps you want to use. Rule of thumb is the shutter speed should be ~twice the frame rates. So 24fps should have a 1/48th shutter speed, 25fps should use 1/50th, 60fps should use 1/120th etc. Since there is no 1/48th shutter speed 1/50th will suffice. When you deviate from these standards causes problems for post editing. You can deviate from these standards if you are looking for certain effects that happen using higher shutter speeds but the general rule for video shutter speed needs to be ~twice the fps.
