K3III Premium kit Silver Discontinued

Maybe it should have stated Silver Premium 'sold out'. Sounds a lot better!

It was a launch special that probably won’t be repeated, so in that case the annotation would be correct, but I agree that “sold out” sounds better.

I wonder if Ricoh will be saying that sales of the K-3iii have exceeded expectations, like they did with the K-1 and, IIRC, the 645Z. For the sake of the brand, which I’ve been supporting with new lens purchases since I bought the K-1, I hope they will.

Ricoh USA uses the term " discontinued " now as well but

it was announced a week or two ago by it that the limited number of the black and silver editions of the K 3 III premiums kits had been " sold out "

at the time, it did appear that some vendors still had some on hand and some buyers through out the world had not yet received pre-ordered premium kits

the premium kit was the body + a color coordinated battery grip + a special leather strap + an extra battery + a special box

only 1000 black and 1000 silver premium kits were to be sold world wide

remember that the battery grip for the K 3 III comes in black only except for the 1000 silver battery grips were produced for the silver premium kit
