AF.C in Movie Mode

On page 64 of the K-3 Mark iii User Manual it mentions Continuous AF can be selected for Movie Mode. I've tried every AF combination and input I can think of but I cannot change this setting to Continuous AF in the menu - it's set to AF.S and greyed out. I'm probably missing something very obvious, but has anyone managed to change this setting? I'm running FW 1.02.

Do you have the "compatible lens" attached?

This. The only compatible lens for the moment is the 55–300 PLM. That will grow to two when the DA* 16–50 PLM is released.

The DFA*50/1.4 and DFA*85/1.4 are also KAF4 type lenses so should also support continuous auto focus during video.

I believe for the AF.C in video it's a bit more than just having an electromagnetic aperture which is what KAF4 is. The PLM focus motor is more precise with tiny incremental movement which you need for video. It's the focus system which is different even though the coupling for the mount is KAF4 for all those lenses.

This is my understanding as well.

As @Kobie said, it’s about the PLM AF motor and not being KAF4 lenses without a mechanical aperture coupling.
