Flash wireless trigger for K-3iii

As the the K-3iii does not have a built in flash wireless trigger, can users recommend a suitable wireless trigger, compatible with a Metz 52 AF-1 flash. For the trigger, TTL compatibility required, HSS would be useful, but not essential.
Looking forward to your recommendations.

Take a look at the GODOX XPro P GODOX PHOTO EQUIPMENT CO.,LTD Xpro-P Good build quality and reliability.
There are various flashes from GODOX that will work with the XPro system.

It doesn't seem that your Metz is directly compatible with the GODOX system but there are work arounds here is a video on those methods

Good luck

Cactus went out of business a few months ago. Godox is the go.

Unfortunately, time to sell the Metz and invest into the Godox system if you want compatible triggers, flashes and strobes.

His third method is the most obvious and most flexible, but the servo approach is cheap and works well if you don't mind manual setup.

Your Metz will need to take its sync from an RX (receiver) compatible with the transmitter. Unless you are in the Cactus universe*, that means the Metz will be reduced to operating as a non-TTL manual flash with setup done on the flash. As noted above, Godox is the best option at present if you need remote TTL from a Pentax camera. If TTL is not a strong requirement, either Godox or Yongnuo systems get the thumbs-up from me. (I have components from both and yes, they can be intermingled with discretion.)

Steve

* As noted above, that ship has sailed. Cactus is no longer in the lighting business.

How about getting a used Metz or Pentax flash to use as a master?

I am looking at getting a 2nd Metz flash (probably 2nd hand) to use as the master, as the use will be within light trigger distance. My existing Metz can also 'learn' a 2nd flash as a trigger, so this may be useful.
