Here are the results I get from pushing dPreview's raw file: 0EV, 1EV, 2EV, 3EV, 4EV, 5EV.
Dou you guys see any color cast problem?

I don't know what's going on with the magenta cast in his tests, I just downloaded dPreview's ISO 400 raw (Li used ISO 400 for his test), pushed the shadows and exposure all the way, and I didn't get any cast with ACR CS6. I remember he said the same thing about the K1ii and I didn't see the cast there neither.
Come on people. someone with a K3iii should make a test about the alleged color cast, it's not that complicated to see if it's real or not.
OK, here's a pretty underexposed shot I took while bracketing for a sunrise. Only edit I did was push the exposure to +5 and shadows to +100. Left profile as Camera Natural. Both exported directly from the latest Lightroom Classic using my preset for PF. I'll also throw in an ISO400 from a sunset shoot. I've given it the same treatment. If someone wants something more "studio", then someone else will have to supply it

This time when seeing the pricetag and wanted a Tamron 150-600mm I bought the Nxxxon D500. together with that lens. D500 used with 15 K clicks as new. $1100.
What a focusing-machine and I do not regret.

However mostly use my K1 for anything not birding or action and I keep my K3 with all it's kenses as well.
D500 is not at all a bad camera.

You have to underexpose, then raise the luminosity so the image would look "normal". Using a dark scene would help forcing the issue.
Using a version of Adobe which doesn't really support the camera might also help.

With the last one do you see any magenta cast before it blows out?

Not that my eye can detect. It may not be the perfect test scene, since the sky is so orange and you do get a bit of that casting over the landscape.

Here's one more pair. (I seriously have my Lightroom filters right now set to the K-3 Mark III and ISO 400 just for all y'all.) Again, exposure +5, Shadows +100.

Nobody is questioning the D500.

I think that I refuse to watch anything that goofball posts to YouTube.
I concur. He clearly is out of his depth on most technical topics and misapplies technical terms apparently at random.

Don't grant him the click.

Steve

(...if he is seeing magenta, I suggest he calibrate his monitor and/or check his software defaults...)

I wouldn't call that photography. Let's say... reviewing?

That will work, but I said "real world", which means an actual photograph of a subject under real conditions, not in a "lab".
