BIF images taken yesterday, OOC crops. Love the K3-iii and the D FA 150-450 and I am getting more BIF keepers than with either the K3 or K1.

Anyone using this combo for bird photography, especially flying birds? I've been so humbled by what my Canon and Sony friends can capture at this point with their equipment it would be nice to see what this new combo can muster.
Hi I have been using this combination for about 6 weeks and works well use AFC and a select AF on just 4 points setting on S for small. Difficulty is holding on the flying subject. I also have KPs and use the 150-450 on spot set to AFC but by comarison the K3 iii gives faster AF.

Pentax k-1 is not able to keep focus in burst mode (only the first photo is in focus, then loosing focus on the rest). Because of that, I also use single shot with my k-1)

K-3-III keeps focus in all the photos !
I have the same experience. Sometimes when I throw my camera up and start shooting first one or two images are out of focus, rest in foucs.
