K3 mark III (not mark II !)& Sigma 50-500 (later version) - any experience or issues?

As per the title because, although as yet I have neither a K3 III nor a 50-500, I am considering both in the somewhat longer term?

Thanks in advance.

I have the 'Bigma', Sigma 50-500mm f/4-6.3 EX DG HSM, but no K3 II
I have used it on my K70, and is actually very satisfied, but it is rather heavy.
Here is a shot of the moon

Thanks for the reply

And I'm going to ask one of the mods to amend the thread title because I should have written "K3 III" and not "K3 II"

I have both, and while I haven’t used the Bigma with the K3iii very much yet, everything seems to work just fine. Pelto is right to point out that it is a heavy lens, and I will add that it needs a lot of light to perform at its best, but it is very good, and capable of producing fine results.

I have the Sigma 50-500 and yes, its a pretty heavy lens. However, the OS system on the lens make it still can do some hand held shooting. Its good on both my K5 and K1.
So I think it s/b good on K3 lll as well.
This is on my K5 years back.

Thx for all the info - will be keeping my eyes open for a possible lens purchase (there's one on ebay UK ATM, but I think I'll pass on that)
