Agreed. I think that showing various 'flat' images as well as processed ones is important. The processed images can reflect a photographer's approaches to certain scenes and emotions.
Although some of the images in the review are not quite to my personal taste, I enjoyed browsing and reading the author's perspectives on his photographic experience.
Edit. In the Summary, the photographer says "The appeal of the K-3 Mark III cannot be described in a single word. Not only the image quality, but also the sense of unity with the camera when picked up and the operability are packed with many elements that motivate shooting. It is difficult to fully understand the appeal of the K-3 Mark III just by looking at the catalogs and examples."
It occurs to me that many, if not all, of the recent published reviews of the K-3 Mark III lack this type of nuance.
