Metz flash unit on Pentax K-3 Mk. iii

Have you got electronic shutter enabled? I had same issue with my K-3iii and Cactus v6 trigger. It seems that having ES enabled for LV also affects OVF operations of flash. Turned it off and all fine :-)

Triggered by the comments of Kwong and Tjompen that their flashes do work, I realised that after I updated the camera's FW I left the shutter in the setting Electronic Release. That's the problem, and the solution is easy.

Great that you solved it. Something to keep in mind if it ever happens to me.
