Camera came out of the box with FW 1.41. Quick testing of my lenses does not seem to reveal any major problems (like lenses needing +/-10 AF fine adjustment).
I think it's safe to skip this release and upgrade further down the line am I right ? The changelog does not hint at any major improvement.
Pentax isn't very communicative about detailed changes so we don't know what smaller bugs have been fixed. One or many of those fixed bugs may bite when you're capturing that once in a lifetime shot. People are of differing opinion about upgrading software but I find that it's generally best practice to upgrade as quickly as possible. There are companies bringing anti-features with upgrades (hello Microsoft) but I don't use such products.
