Thanks for compiling this handy list, Michael. Have been using DxO OpticsPro/PhotoLab and the Nik Collection for many years now and so appreciate your effort.
It is true, Pentax support is not bad - in fact, all my current lenses are supported - but some pretty glaring omissions remain, notably
- HD PENTAX-DA FISH-EYE 10-17mm 1:3.5-4.5 ED
- HD Pentax-DA* 16-50mm F2.8ED PLM AW
- HD PENTAX-FA 1:2 35mm
- HD PENTAX-FA 1:1.8 31mm AL Limited
- HD PENTAX-FA 1:1.9 43mm Limited
- HD PENTAX-FA 1:1.8 77mm Limited
- HD PENTAX-D FA 1:2.4 21mm ED Limited DC WR
There's a loose group of PF members using DxO products who - from time to time, and not trying to be too pushy - remind the people at DxO via their own forum of the further profiles needed, lest they forget that they have a fairly stable base with some of the Pentaxians out there. Together, we've been able to speed up the release of a long overdue profile for the
HD PENTAX-DA 55-300mm 1:4.5-6.3 ED PLM WR RE, for instance.
Apart from the relatively low priority commanded by Ricoh/Pentax as a niche player and the overwhelming demand from users of the bigger brands (my conjecture), it seems to be the case that Ricoh Imaging Europe does a somewhat patchy job of proactively sending out sample copies to them, which DxO needs for the profile calibration process (DxO's position).
