Some funny replies here- all in good fun, I love it. Just know that I traded in some serious kit so I could have two Mark III's. These will now be my main workhorse cameras for much of my photo work, which uses to be shared by Canon and Nikon (and even some Fujifilm) gear. I still have some left of each but my "big stuff" was traded in. Stuff like the Canon 5D Mark IV, Fujifilm 50s, D4, stuff like that.
The point really here is that this is the first Pentax camera that I know can handle pro level work in nearly every single category- the action category is so huge. There are so many reasons and situations to have fast reliable focus tracking and fast frame rates, both professionally and as a hobbyist. While all that may have been mainstay in other brands for so long, it hasn't been for Pentax and they have missed out on those very important markets for a long time. I wondered if I'd ever get my dream Pentax, and when it happened I really didn't believe it at first or let its impact fully sink in.
Well it's sunk in. I'm fully in on a serious Pentax kit for all of my pro and casual work now where I only really used to use them for the latter. They will be used, they won't be sitting around gathering dust or looking purty on a shelf, trust me when I say that
.
Now all I need is the silver and black one !
