I think that's in line with current international standards for consumer labelling, such as the EU.
You don't have to source all your parts from one country, it's where it's all put together that gets the 'Made In' sticker, AFAIK.
The $10,000 Pinarello racing bicycles are considered made in Italy, even if almost all carbon fibre for bikes is sourced from one of several Taiwanese factories.
I'm assuming that almost anything electrical manufactured anywhere today contains wiring and components from China.
