Unresponsive Wheels

Suddenly, the shutter speed and aperture wheels do not change the settings. It doesn't matter what mode I'm in. I've pulled the battery and tried a different one and charged it.m It happens across multiple lenses. I have leaned the contacts on the camera and lens with an alcohol swab, though they didn't seem dirty. I haven't done a factory reset yet.

If I tether to my iPad, I am able to control those functions through the interface and they seem to work as intended.

Please tell me I did something in a menu and that I'm in idiot and it's easy to change back. Short of that, is a reset a good idea? I haven't saved Custom User Modes or made lens corrections (because it hasn't needed them, unlike my K5 with some of the same lenses).

Consider a hard reset of the camera setting: take the main battery out for 24 h, recharge it to100% and re-insert after t least 24 h (out of the camera).

Hope that it may help.

At this point in you investigation, you have the choice between dial wheels not working or losing your camera settings. Which one you prefer?

Yep! Thank you.

It was hard to get off, though, I had to work at it a bit for some reason, but I'm all good now.
