Kershaw Raven

I think I have posted these elsewhere, but this camera deserves a thread on its own. This is a c. 1947 Kershaw Raven. It takes 6x9cm images on 120 roll film. These photos are from before I had it refurbished. It now has new bellows thanks to the Custom Bellows company and works well.

This was taken after its service:

And some photos taken with it.

What an amazing quality! I love those color shots! You’re right, such models deserve their own thread.

Hello,

What a beautiful camera but most importantly, you need metal gloves to handle all that sharpness!
Beautiful images!
That camera is close in specs to my Junior six-20 Series II I am about to test next:
Anastigmat lens, 100mm (vs 101.6mm on yours), f6.3 and similar shutter speeds.
I'll be very happy if mine performs similarly.

Thanks,
Ismael

You have a treasure there. I remember your previous post and went through the trouble some time later to research the camera along with its price and availability. I don't think I will be seeing one soon, though it is hard to say.

It is definitely a beauty. I am sure that you are thoroughly enjoying it. What decision have you made about processing the old roll of film?

I don't think it has been used, and as it was a weird paper negative thing I decided just to have it on the shelf as part of my film museum, next to my rolls of Kodachrome 64, Kodak BW400CN and Fuji Neopan 1600.
