The Tower 37A was also a Mamiya Prismat but limited to 1/500 max shutter and no self timer. Mamiya used its own variation of the Exacta bayonet, like Topcon, with its own semi-auto aperture mechanism.
Mamiya went on to produce the Nikkorex F with the Nikon F mount for Nikon, then sold the factory to Ricoh who produced the Singlex as their first SLR (still with the F mount). Sears sold the Singlex as the SL 11, and then sold the M42 mount Singlex II under the same name…
