127 Film Cameras

I discovered that fresh 127 film was available at B&H called ReraPan and available in ISO 100 and 400. I bought 2 rolls (around $13 each) to use in my VP Exakta. I used to have a baby Rollei but I sold it a while ago. I might look for a Yashica or Ricoh 44.

For something a little "different", keep your eyes open for a Kodak Vollenda No.48 kodak classics - mischa koning … 16-on-127 folder with a decent lens and shutter
I used to have one but I think it went when the rest of my collection was dispersed … never did use it

That's an interesting camera...3x4 cm images so you get 16 shots. Also they have a Schneider Xenar in a Compur shutter...very nice. I see one on eBay for $110.

Hello,

Nice Exakta!

I would love to see the results.

I shot 127 ReraPan 100 earlier this year.
Two rolls left, way to many 127 camera candidates fighting for them.

Sample pictures with 2 cameras: One from 1928 and one from 1960 - PentaxForums.com

Thanks,
Ismael

I want to shoot some "superslides" with my recently purchased Sawyer's Mark IV 127 TLR.
Rerachrome E6 color film is available at B&H, however I'm having trouble finding 2 x 2 inch glassless mounts for 4x4 cm slides.
If anyone knows a source for these other than eBay please let me know.

Chris

Did you developed the film? And if so what did you use? With ISO 100 I should be fine with D76 1:1 I was thinking. I don't currently have a tank for 127 but I'll pick one up soon. I've had this Exakta VP for maybe 30yrs and haven't put film through it in almost as long. The shutter is still good and light tight. The Tessar lens is uncoated but pretty clear. I'm excited to shoot with it again.

Hi Tony,

No. I sent to The Darkroom in California for development. But found out their scans were not as good. My own scans were better as I had the time to tinker with it but handling the odd size film was a challenge as my ancient scanner only has 35mm and 120 trays.

Thanks,
Ismael

I was unaware it now comes in ISO 100. Need to look into that next time I need to buy any film.
