Pass through transmitter?

Does anyone know of a transmitter that allows for mounting of a flash (IE: 540) on the camera?

Example: have your slaves setup in a specific area, but with the choice of firing the "mounted" flash without triggering the remotes via a switch on the transmitter? like wise firing the slaves without or with the "mounted" flash?

In other words a transmitter that has an additional shoe. Preferably with P-TTL.

The only one that I know of is the Pocket Wizard TT5, but it is EXPEN$IVE and you will not have P-TTL (on your flash either). I do not know of any wireless system that works with The Pentax P-TTL. What camera do you have? If you have a K-7 or similar with a sync post, then you may be able to mount your flash on the hotshoe as usual and plug a transmitter into the sync port. Use your on-camera flash in P-TTL or turn it off and turn on your trigger (non-P-TTL) that is gaffer-taped to your on-board flash. I'm not sure that you could do it that way (I, afterall, have a K10D), but it could be an option.

WOW! That is expensive. Maybe I'll just stick to the RF-602 system and deal with swapping the transmitter for the 540 flash, if needed.

I am shooting with a K20d.

Thanks for the info.

Why choose the difficult solution?
K20d has a x-sync socket on the left side of the camera you can connect the RF-602 transmitter to. Using a bit of welcro it's easy to attach the transmitter to the flash or camera body.
By doing this you should be able to use P-TTL for the camera mounted flash, and manual for the remote units.
