The "Lenscoat Body Bag Compact" fits a K-x and the DA 21mm or DA 40mm ltd perfectly. It is marketed as a neoprene cover for a camera body without a lens.

From Adorama, probably B&H as well, for $22 black, or $27 various camo colors. The only thing lacking is a leash to hold it onto your camera strap, but that's easy to add. You can also just stuff the bag into a pocket, of course your other pocket has the other DA ltd lens.

I got a camo color, and it looks just like P&S with a neck strap, not much bigger. Highly recommended.

The next size up is for a small SLR with the kit lens, like a K-x, Nikon 5000, etc. Fits the K-x with the kit lens fine. The 50-200mm or 55-300 lenses fit in the cover too. This size has a leash, works great for landscape or portrait orientation of the camera, out of the way.

They won't survive a dunking underwater, but pretty decent protection for minimal cost and size.
