San Disk 32GB Extreme SD SDHC Card Class 10 30MB/s 200x

i bought San Disk 32GB Extreme SD SDHC Card Class 10 30MB/s 200x

it works fast and good with Pentax 20k and Pentax 7k and much faster than

San disk 32GB Ultra II SDHC Memory Card with i used previously- speeds of up to 15MB/second

i think it is one of the best memory cards in the market
i recommend it to everyone for daily photography

Moved to the accessory forum.

I've been looking around for a 32gb card, and finally found it here: Amazon.com: SanDisk 32GB Extreme - SDHC Class 10 High Performance memory card 200x (SDSDX3-032G-P31, Retail Packaging)… After giving it some though, though, I think I'll stick with 16Gb cards, as then your loss is a lot smaller if a card decides to shit the bed (recently, one of my cards fell apart and was only readable by the computer, not the camera).

And fewer pictures lost, as well. I use 4 and 8 GB cards. The 4s are dirt cheap anymore.

+1 on using smaller cards - the extreme SD 4 gigs is GBP 17 at memorycardzoo.com and you know...never put all your eggs in the same basket... unless you're shooting HD movies

Adam, I just love your technical card failure description.

if you shoot nature photography, birds , extreme sport, have a long vacation in another country,HDR PHOTOGRAPHY or video -16 gb card dose not meet my photographic demands
the last year i made a vacation in Austria i shoot about 5000 pictures
if you shoot HDR every picture composed of at least 3 photos
if you shoot also video you my need two or three cards

16GB is the bomb tbh.
I ran with 8 for a few and found that I'd have to swap out a few times in a shoot, but all that disappeared with 16GB cards(just perfect!)

And the prices and performances are just about perfect too

I carry 4 cards + 1 wherever I go, and I haven't looked back yet.

with 32 gb you can shoot
raw-1379 pictures
jpeg-2478 pictures

if you take pictures of birds and animals in movement and flying you finish the 32GB card in two days-jpeg format and one day in RAW format
if you shoot video you may need anather card
