There is no such thing as a generic "Macro Adapter 1:1."

The one discussed in the thread you refer to is dedicated to a lens. It achieves 1:1 when used with that particular lens. When attached to a different lens, it provides some close-focusing capability but depending on the lens, the magnification may not be 1:1.

Why are you looking for that parcular adapter? A Raynox 150 or 250 is readily available and can do the job.
Actually, I have a 50mm Pentax auto K extension tube that says otherwise. However, the FA 50mm f1.4 isn't the best lens to use with it.

Why not, I wonder? Is it because the 50/1.4 does not have the flat field optics of a dedicated macro lens? I use my K 50mm extension whenever I need the boost in close up. I use it most often with my 400/5.6 to get closer than 5 metres and with my 100/4 macro when I need to get closer than 1:2, which is not often.

It probably works.

But note that with bellows, you have to stop down the lens manually. This is not possible with a lens without aperture ring.

Also, bellows are heavy and awkward. The dim viewfinder doesn't help either. They are suitable for static objects.

Danny,

This picture was taken with my Pentax K100d equipped with a Tamron 28 to 80mm lens set at 45mm and a Raynox 250 Super Macro Conversion Lens.
There are 16 of those window screen segments to the inch.
I could have got a much larger image by zooming to 80mm.

That's the reason. However, its still not bad. However, I either put the M 50mm/1.7 on the K 50 or the Macro-Tak 50mm/4 and the latter is already 1:1. That is focus rail territory. I also have the kenko AF tube and I have tried the FA 50/1.4 with it and FA 77mm. The FA or F 1.7 would be a better choice but I don't have either of those. In fact, since I have both of these tubes, I have been meaning to sell Pentax manual K set.

A slower prime would likely give better IQ than the 50mm f1.4 in the macro range. Other than tubes, bellows, or close-up filters, you could reverse mount the lens with a low-cost adapter, or cement a K mount ring to a filter ring.

How-2 Do Macro

* Buy a macro prime lens.

--- Old and manual work as well as new and auto, except when using flash. WARNING: Most "macro zooms" ain't macro -- they don't approach 1:1 or 1:2 magnification.

* Use supplemental glass.

--- Supplementals can be simple +diopter 'filters' (which degrade the image but are easy and cheap); or corrected doublets like the Raynoxi and their ilk; or a 'stacked' (reversed) shorter prime lens.
--- Stack a 24mm lens (with an aperture ring) atop a 50/1.4 prime for 2:1 magnification; atop a 200mm tele it gives 8:1 magnification. Stacking can be done with a thread-reversal ring, or just by taping the lenses together.

* Buy some extension.

--- For an auto lens, some auto tubes or a de-glassed TC will feed signals between lens and camera; otherwise, you work totally manually.
--- Plain tubes are very cheap. Not counting m42 tubes, many cheap tube sets are sold for various cameras, with mount pieces for each camera type plus generic tube pieces, so by buying different sets you can use non-Pentax lenses for macros. Bellows aren't very expensive either and allow great flexibility.
--- Many standard lenses work best for macros when reversed, which only requires a cheap mount-reversal ring.
--- Cheap enlarger lenses work well on bellows.
